Detachments Looking at the Sea, a fundamental link for the safeguarding of the nation

Florida, Nov 25.- The municipal Directorate of the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution (CDR) in Florida exchanged with the members of the Looking at the Sea Detachment located in the coastal community of Playa Florida, to learn how the work of that team is progressing.

During the tour they visited the sick, spoke with CDR members, founders, combatants and militants of the Cuban Communist Party (PCC) and participated with the members of the detachment in planting patios and plots supporting the food sovereignty program.

The Looking at the Sea Detachment plays an important role in this demarcation, as they detect possible illegal departures from the country, prevent the entry of weapons or drug arrivals on the coast.

In the exchange that took place, the creator of the CDR and main promoter of the Looking to the Sea Detachments, Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, was remembered, seven years after his physical disappearance.
