Florida, Aug 26.- The importance of incorporating young people and members of political and mass organizations with conditions to join the Association of Combatants of the Cuban Revolution (ACRC) of the municipality of Florida, focused the debate during the analysis of the results of the work carried out in the first semester of the current year by that force.
Other elements agreed upon at the meeting were the monitoring of combatants with housing problems for their solution and a greater participation of the members in the organic life of the association.

Among the results of the ACRC in the territory are financial and material aid to 52 comrades, visits to combatants with health problems, the participation and support of members in the work of the Family Physician’s office for the control of dengue and other diseases.
Likewise, the patriotic and political work of the organization was highlighted with various activities carried out with students of the different levels of education in the territory.
Elaine Gómez Cardoso, member of the Municipal Bureau of the Communist Party of Cuba, at the meeting highlighted the importance of seeking, from the base, people with the necessary conditions to join the ranks of the Association, and maintaining as a primary task the attention to the oldest fighters with health problems.
