Florida, May 18.- The direction of the Sports Sector in Florida recognized the best teachers in the class for the elderly, during the traditional Municipal Festival that brings together members of the Circles of Grandparents for the Demonstration of different types of physical exercises and healthy practices.
In this edition, Libey Álvarez Serrano, a professor at the Ignacio Agramonte sports team, a professional with extensive experience in promoting different sports programs, was awarded first place in this Community Physical Activity Festival.
With the second and third place were recognized the classes for older adults of the graduate Dayanis Escalante Grandales of the Argentine sports team, and Professor Osvaldo Moreno Cruz, belonging to the Ibarra popular council.
The Municipal Festival of the class for the elderly, in addition to an exercise to evaluate the performance of teachers and activists of Physical Culture, is a sporting and recreational event that greatly encourages the spirit and improves the quality of life of grandmothers and grandfathers, priorities of this social program of the Cuban Revolution.
