Florida, August 21 – The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Urban Pre-University Institute will host the municipal opening ceremony for the 2026-2027 school year, scheduled for Tuesday, September 1. The ceremony will mark the official start of academic activities throughout the province.
Preparations began on August 20, when the governing boards of each educational institution resumed their work. Four days later, on Monday the 24th, all teaching staff will return to finalize details for the new academic year.
During that week, teachers, professors, and support staff will organize classrooms and other facilities, review study materials, and verify student enrollment.
The goal is to ensure that each center has the necessary resources and adequate space to receive students.
As is tradition, a cleaning and beautification day will be held before the start of the school year, with the participation of families. This joint effort will ensure everything is in perfect condition for the start of classes on the first day of September.
