Florida, August 14 – “On His Shoulders, the Dawn” is the title of the Poetry Anthology presented on August 13 in the city of Camagüey, dedicated to Fidel Castro Ruz, leader of the Cuban Revolution, as a tribute to the centennial of his birth.
Works by Florida poets Elena María Obregón Navarro, Caridad de la Torre Sequeira, Evelina García Martinez, and Manuel de Jesús Almeida Bada, along with creations by 25 other poets from Camagüey, make up the text, compiled by writers Evelyn Keipo and Jesús Aismar Zamora.
The protocol hall of the Ignacio Agramonte Loynaz Revolution Square was the venue chosen for the presentation of the text, which recognizes and celebrates the work of the Revolution and its historic leader, Fidel Castro Ruz.
