Felipe Alcántara, an example of agricultural solidarity in Florida

Florida, July 21 – Florida farmer Felipe Alcántara Quintas is making his mark among the men and women who are promoting solidarity and altruism in the current situation. He does this by donating or selling food and other items at low cost to vulnerable groups and by providing dedicated support for social projects of great human compassion.

Produce and other goods from Felipe Alcántara’s farm, a member of the Mártires de Florida Basic Cooperative Production Unit, are being delivered to hospitals, the Maternity Home, and Family Support Services in this municipality. He and his family are also delivering clothing, sweets, and other supplies to the residents of the children’s home.

“Every time they’ve knocked on my door, we’ve always found a positive response, ready to help the people and the government solve the problems and address the demands affecting the community,” said this farmer and self-employed worker, who has also provided resources like cement to cover extraordinary needs at the Florida cemetery.

Felipe Alcántara Quintas is known for his upright character, the strength of his voice, and the sincerity of his words—virtues associated with his noble spirit and altruistic conduct that have earned him a prominent place among Florida farmers recognized for their commitment to the people and the times they live in.
