Florida, July 21 – The municipal commemoration of the 73rd anniversary of the attacks on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes barracks will take place in Florida this Wednesday, July 22. Representatives of civil society, local organizations and socioeconomic entities, and the general public are invited to participate.
According to information provided by the ideological department of the Municipal Bureau of the Communist Party, the official commemoration will begin at 8:00 a.m. at the Cielo Floridano Recreational Center.
As is customary, the main activities commemorating the Moncada attack will include the distribution of membership cards to new members of the Party and the Union of Young Communists, along with recognition of collectives and workers who have excelled in fulfilling their social responsibilities and other tasks over the past 12 months.
The municipal event commemorating the 73rd anniversary of the beginning of the libertarian epic led by Fidel Castro on July 26, 1953, will seek to reinforce the commitment of Floridians to the work of the Revolution, the continuity of Socialism, and the defense of the Homeland in the current situation.
