Winners selected in Florida for the national contest “He who reads the most knows the most”.

Florida, Dec. 20 – The National Contest “Who Reads More Knows More” concluded this month its stage at school level with the selection of the best works that will compete in the municipal event to be held in January 2025.

Organized by the Ministry of Education, the School Library System and the National Reading Program, the contest is open to students from fourth grade to high school and aims to familiarize children and young people with the world of literature and develop their narrative and oral expression skills.

Promoting reading from an early age, fostering culture and highlighting the work of important national and foreign writers are other essential objectives of the contest, which this year had a larger turnout in Florida’s educational institutions.

The winning students of the municipal event will compete at the provincial level in February of next year and the results at the national level will be announced on April 2 in commemoration of the International Children’s and Young People’s Book Day.)
