Florida, July 12 – July 13 marks the fifth anniversary of the constitution of the National Electoral Council and its counterparts in provinces and municipalities, as bodies whose fundamental mission is to organize, direct and supervise elections, popular consultations, plebiscites and referendums called in the Republic of Cuba.
On the occasion, journalist Yunier Soler Castellanos talked to Marylín Becerra Fernández, a Floridian educator who was the highest electoral authority in the municipality of Florida for three terms and is currently involved in the organization and management of electoral processes as a member of the provincial council.
