Floridian beekeepers lead the productive vanguard of the agricultural sector (+Photo)

Florida, Jul. 4 – As the best gift to the development of the Seventh Cuban Beekeeping Congress, the associates of this branch in the agricultural sector of Florida overfulfilled most of the plans for the collection of beehive products foreseen for the month of June.

According to information provided by Ana Margarita González Sáez, head of the Florida Territorial Brigade, the members of the group far exceeded one hundred percent of the quantities of beeswax and honey contracted for collection in the sixth month of the year.

In the case of propolis, they were just a few tenths of a percent short of the agreed total for shipments to the industry in the period in question.

Sense of belonging, discipline, dedication and challenge to difficulties are the main virtues and strengths of the beekeepers of the municipalities of Florida and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes, who have become the productive vanguard of the farmers and ranchers of the territory.
