Radio Florida implements a new management model for the Cuban press

Florida, Jun 30.- The group of the Radio Florida station is working on the implementation of a new press model that includes the provision of new audiovisual and digital services for the benefit of clients in the state sector, private individuals, and natural persons. with the purpose of raising financing in correspondence with the change of economic management of the communication medium.

This new experiment led by the Union of Journalists of Cuba, includes Radio Florida as the only municipal station in the country authorized to market products created by media professionals, actions that to date are carried out free of charge, among them, the services Social activities linked to the promotion and sale of private items and homes.

The transformations include the possibility of giving improvement courses on different topics, and it is expected that the programming will include promotional spots for products and services from private businesses and the state sector, the commercialization of professional talent will be promoted in the realization of cultural galas, events politicians and shows, among other activities where the presence of local radio operators is required.

With the Florida de Cuba brand, the station of this municipality in Camagüey will soon implement the new Press Management model, with journalists, artists and professionals as protagonists, which implies important changes related to radio programming and the topics to be dealt with, always in the desire to be more similar to the local population.
