Florida, June 28.- Floridian Guillermo Pías del Río won a gold medal as a member of the Cuban Shooting Team, which won the team title in the 10-meter air pistol event at the Centro American Games and of the Caribbean of San Salvador 2023.
Individually, the gunman from the municipality of Florida managed to be included in the final of the event along with his two teammates, but could not reach the awards podium, like five years ago in Barranquilla, where he won a silver medal for the Cuban delegation.
The best placed of the trio of Cuban shooters in this event was Alejandro Delgado with a bronze medal, while the holder of the previous Central American edition, Jorge Grau, and Floridian Guillermo Pías, finished in fourth and fifth place, respectively.
