Florida, Apr 15.- Relatives of the gymnast Danaylis León Joseph received this Thursday the public recognition of the Sports authorities and representatives of political and mass organizations in Florida, regarding the fact that the young athlete is part of the Cuban delegation to participate in the V edition of the ALBA Games, to be held from April 21 to 29 in Venezuela.
Danaylis is a member of the Cuban Rhythmic Gymnastics team that will compete in the group modality of the discipline in the multisport event, where three other Florida athletes are also expected to participate: volleyball player Adrián Chirino Callam, sprinter Yarima García Díaz and tennis player Adrián Pérez Niebla .
The direction of the Municipal Sports Sector in Florida has designed a program of activities that will reach the homes of these young athletes to identify their homes in front of the community and recognize their relatives in public events, where friends, neighbors and representatives of the political and mass organizations of the neighborhood and the municipality.
