Florida, Apr 15.- A group of young Floridians participated in the Campesino Youth Activity carried out in the city of Camagüey, with participants from representatives of all the municipalities of Camagüey and where core issues were analyzed for the internal functioning of the organization that brings together the men and women of the field.
During the meeting, they recognized Magdiel Herrera León, from the Mártires Agricultural Production Cooperative, who collects various crops to feed the people.
The Activo Juvenil Campesino was opportune to ratify the call to strengthen the Youth Technical Brigades in the entities of the sector, to systematize the search for alternatives to alleviate the difficulties that the country is experiencing due to the current world economic crisis and the intensified economic blockade imposed by the United States government.
As a climax to the meeting, he presented the call for the 12th Congress of the Union of Young Communists, an event dedicated to the 61st anniversaries of the youth political vanguard and the 62nd anniversaries of the José Martí Pioneers Organization.
