The work of the women’s organization is recognized in Florida

Florida, Mar 2.- The Federation of Cuban Women (FMC) in the municipality obtained the status of Outstanding in the provincial emulation for International Women’s Day to be celebrated on March 8.
Rita Viltres Ríos, general secretary of the FMC in the territory, reported that the results are due to the fact of complying with all the parameters of the women’s organization and the positive evaluation given to the municipality after the comprehensive control visit carried out by national leaders of the Federation of Cuban Women.
Viltres Ríos also said that by 2023, the FMC in the territory has among its work projections to continue complying with the cadre policy, complete the management structure in some blocks, extend the work of the Orientation House to the Women and Families to rural communities and promote the Adelanto a la Mujer program.
The general secretary of the Federation of Cuban Women in the territory, summoned the women to celebrate International Women’s Day this March 8 with enthusiasm and ratified the purpose of obtaining in the current calendar Vanguard status at the provincial level.
