Party Control inspects orders from the Floridian agri-sugar sector (+Post)

Florida, 24 Jul.- Sugar cane planting and the production of various crops in the sugar sector remained the focus of interest of the highest political leadership of the municipality of Florida, in the continuity of the visits to the agrarian base to evaluate the progress of the Food Sovereignty program in this locality.

The inspection, dialogue, recommendations and demands to improve the results in both tasks reached this time the Unidad Básica de Producción Cooperativa (UBPC) El Vaquerito and El Mambí, linked to the Empresa Agroindustrial Azucarera Ignacio Agramonte, where alternatives are sought to advance in the planting of gramineae and need more impulse to obtain viands and grains.

Despite the lack of human capital, the Vaquerito unit is determined to complete the planting of some 40 hectares of sugarcane before the end of this year, of which 24 are already in the process of germination, and continue to gain ground in the current campaign at the rate of one hectare per day.

On the other hand, the UBPC El Mambí collective defends the production of a cavallerie of corn through an agreement with related usufructuaries, a strategy that, according to the analysis of Liliana Boudet Nápoles, the first secretary of the Communist Party in Florida, is profitable, but it should only work as a complement to the protagonism and autonomy of the entity itself.

The highest political leader of the territory called to guarantee the quality of everything that is done in the agri- alimentary sphere, to banish naivety, to always prioritize the interests of the Socialist State Enterprise and to maintain administrative control over each one of the agricultural and sugarcane production processes.
