Food production: main strategic line for the transformation of Florida

Florida, Feb 23.- Food production remains the number one strategic line of the System of Political-Ideological Actions for the economic, social and environmental transformation of the municipality of Florida in 2023.

As part of it, the highest partisan leadership in the territory directed progress in planting cassava, rice and the rest of the various crops, multiplying the production of meat, milk, eggs and small livestock and working differently with the producers of advanced in the agricultural sector.

The sugar cane growers should also contribute to the development of food sovereignty in Florida, through the increase in grass plantations and the efficiency of harvest tasks, together with the promotion of derivatives such as refining, glucose, alcohols and sorbitol, among others.

At the current stage, the first Strategic Line of the Party and Government Program in search of the necessary socioeconomic growth of the municipality also includes orders for the Food Industry such as the efficient exploitation of reservoirs and the sowing of fingerlings by aquaculture and improve results in platform fishing.

Added to all this are the missions to provide almost 300 tons of dairy products, and thousands of units of croquettes, sausages and flour sweets, alternatives destined for popular consumption in the territory.

The highest political leadership in Florida also demanded that the base be fully aware of these commitments, implement them urgently and check their compliance systematically.
