Florida, Oct 22.- Yamilka Abreu Vélizes, a Floridian, federated and peasant farmer who produces food on a parcel of the Manuel Piti Fajardo Credit and Services Cooperative in the municipality of Florida, where every day she irrigates the land with the sweat of her forehead and extracts of it agricultural products that enrich the home diet and contribute to feeding institutions such as the Children’s Circle, the General and Pediatric Hospital, the home for children without family protection and the family care system.
