Florida, Sep 10.- The importance of planning improvement actions based on the real needs of the territory was one of the topics discussed in the meeting held at the University Center (CUM) of Florida between the teachers of that institution and directors of the high house of high studies of Camagüey.

In the exchange, Dr. Santiago Lajes Choy, Rector of the University of Camagüey, urged the teaching staff to evaluate in greater depth what are the specialties that require new professionals in the municipality in order to work in order to respond to said demand.

Doctor of Science Alicia Rodríguez Grégori, Vice-Rector for Training at the provincial institution, emphasized the need to increase enrollment in careers with an agricultural profile, to increase the qualified force and achieve greater efficiency in this essential sector of the local economy, and in the importance of training specialists to carry out social work.

In the meeting held between directors of the University of Camagüey and teachers of the local CUM, the importance of encouraging interest in overcoming workers who assume important missions in the municipality, who require greater preparation to perform economic functions, was discussed. , political and social.
