Florida, February 25 – As part of the ongoing efforts to improve the governance system in Florida, the Municipal Administration Council will conduct monthly evaluations of the institutional work in addressing problems raised by residents during oversight visits to People’s Councils and communities throughout the territory.
As of February 15, a total of 40 such inspections had been carried out, focusing on monitoring food production, community services, the educational process, bakery operations, state budget execution, family support services, and the sale of medicines, among other issues.
These visits resulted in 24 findings, the responses to which are being reviewed by the governing boards of the relevant entities, along with systematic follow-up to find solutions for each one.
Direct interaction with the people and grassroots productive and service activities is now the best working tool for local governments, with the obligation to better lead, support and accompany the unavoidable socio-economic transformations to improve the quality of life and well-being of citizens, amidst the complex situation the country is experiencing.
