Florida, Feb. 5 – The National Association of Small Farmers (ANAP) in the municipality of Florida must take advantage of the strength of its membership and the structures that support it to turn around the current productive situation of the territory, combat the negative phenomena and advance in the tasks of support to the economy and the ideological battle in each place.
In this sense the peasant delegates pronounced themselves in the recent Assembly of Municipal Balance of the XIII Congress of the peasant organization, integrated here by more than three thousand associates, 22 nuclei of the Party, 14 base committees of the Young Communist Union, about 25 youth brigades and vigilance detachments, together with groups and activists linked to the Federation of Cuban Women and the forces of the Ministry of the Interior.
Multiplying the daily demands from the operation of the general assemblies in the cooperatives, overseeing the performance of the boards of directors, promoting productive political movements, enhancing youth protagonism and sowing awareness among the agrarian family is an urgent task for each and every one of these components of ANAP in Florida.
The fulfillment of these and other missions seeks to achieve greater efficiency in the internal functioning, strengthen the plans for planting, contracting and food collection, reduce the impact of crimes against livestock and land use, in addition to maintaining alive and active support for the Revolution and Cuban socialism.
