Florida, Oct. 9 – A total of 121 students of the different careers taught at the Municipal University Center (CUM) of Florida, received the title of graduates in this school year 2024-2025, in a ceremony held at the Aurora cinema of the city with the presence of Santiago Lage Choy, rector of the University of Camagüey, Liliana Boudet Nápoles, first secretary of the Party in the territory and other authorities.
Among the best graduates who received the Gold Degree were Yennys Capote Nieblas, from the Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education; Dayana Pérez Llerena, from Accounting and Finance; Sanyi Rodríguez Taboada, from the specialty of Agronomy and Keila Guilarte Jiménez graduated from Engineering in Agroindustrial Processes.
During the ceremony, Claudia Álvarez Martínez was also recognized as the most comprehensive graduate and received a gold degree in the Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Culture, who throughout her student career stood out for her performance and participation in extracurricular activities.
Speaking at the ceremony, the rector of the house of higher studies in the province of Camagüey congratulated the graduates, wished them much success in their work performance and called on them to continue the link with the CUM in the various actions of postgraduate improvement taught there.
At the conclusion of the graduation ceremony of the students of the Municipal University Center of Florida, the rector of the University of Camagüey was presented with a special recognition for his support to the training of professionals in the territory.
