Florida, Sep. 10 – More than 60 young students will serve in Florida as observers in the first accountability process of the delegate to his electors, as support to the leadership of the Municipal Assembly of People’s Power in the supervision of the development and quality of the community meetings.
According to Evelyn Márquez Álvarez, president of the local governing body, in this process it is expected to observe 68 percent of the community assemblies scheduled in the municipality, which would be a representative sample in order to evaluate at the constituency area level the compliance with the organizational and legal steps established for the correct development of these meetings.
As in previous assembly processes, students from pre-university, technical-professional and university level, who will be under the guidance and supervision of some of their teachers in the territory, will carry out this mission as observers.
On this occasion, each student is expected to observe four community assemblies out of the 256 meetings of accountability of the delegate to his electors, to be held here between September 20 and November 9.
