Florida, Jul. 23 – Children with different capacities grouped in the Project Amor sin Fronteras (Love without Borders) and those who live in the Home for Children without Family Protection, enjoyed a recreational cultural activity organized in the Unidad Empresarial de Base (UEB) Coppelia Florida on the occasion of the Children’s Day in Cuba.
The jubilee was attended by art instructors, cultural promoters and amateurs of the Luis Casas Romero House of Culture to entertain children with stories and songs; also present were representatives of companies and organizations and the vice intendant Alexis Fenelo of the Administration Council in the territory.
Coppelia Florida became a space of enjoyment where workers of the entity and invited artists interacted with children, joining teachers and relatives to the interesting proposal, included in the programming of the summer stage.
The purpose of the organizers of the activity is to develop similar actions during the summer months for healthy recreation of boys and girls; the General Directorate of Education in Florida joins this effort with a program of activities in 28 educational institutions of the territory.
