Florida, 2 Jul.- With more than three caballerias of land planted with various crops, the Floridian farmer Felipe Alcántara Quintas, from the Cooperativa de Créditos y Servicios (CCS) Octavio Aragón Quiroz, remains at the forefront of the movement of advanced producers in this municipality.
Felipito, as this man is also identified in the family of farmers, is advancing in the current stage with favorable results in the planting of cassava, plantain and sweet potato, based on his own efforts and the support offered by the Administration Council and the Ignacio Agramonte Loynaz Agroindustrial Sugar Company.
Enthusiasm, perseverance and willingness to move forward characterize the daily performance of this producer in whose farm, located in the area of La Juanita of the Conquista popular council, there is an atmosphere of work and victory, despite not having irrigation systems or his own machinery for the cultivation tasks.
«There will be no lack of resources that will stop us, in any case we will continue producing food for the people», said Felipe Alcántara Quintas in an open communication in social networks, as part of the convictions of this Floridian farmer who hopes to sow five caballerias of vianda in the coming months.
