Florida, Mar. 28 – Three professionals from the municipality of Florida are participating in the First International Event of Women Economists and Accountants, which is being held in the city of Camagüey from March 26 to 28, with the participation of experts and specialists from Peru, Mexico and Canada.
Master of Science Marlene Valdés García, professor at the Municipal University Center, and Kirenia Estrada Brito, member of the Florida directorate of the Cuban Association of People with Physical and Motor Disabilities (ACLIFIM), presented their papers on the Integrated Management System and its implementation in commercial enterprises, and a proposal of adjustment in the attention to people with disabilities who request banking services.
Miroslava Pacheco Martínez, who leads the Foreign Trade activities in the Municipal Administration Council in Florida and is the highest representative of the Association of Economists and Accountants in the territory, also participated as a guest at this international meeting, which took place at the Santa Cecilia Convention Center in the capital of Agramontina.
The First International Event of Women Economists and Accountants is entitled Women’s Venture towards Sustainable Development, in general recognition of the social emancipation of Cuban women and their leading role in the study and application of economic sciences.
