Florida, Mar. 28 – The directors of the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution (CDR) in Florida received a visit from members of their national directorate, who verified the functioning of the biggest mass organization in the territory.
Jannis Lafita Hernández, member of the national secretariat of the CDRs in charge of the area of Surveillance and Prevention, pointed out that in Florida the organization lacks dissemination of its work in the social networks and intensification of preventive work and social attention in the communities, among other difficulties existing at the base.
The national secretariat of the Committees for the Defense of the Cuban Revolution gave the leaders of the municipal organization a donation for the members of the Detachment Mirando al Mar located in the coastal community of Playa Florida.
At the end of the tour, the leaders of the mass organization visited the Home for Children without Family Protection and exchanged with the children and their caregivers about the attention they receive in that social and educational institution.
