Florida, Mar. 27 – Different units of the Public Health System of the municipality of Florida were benefited by the donation of implements to measure temperature and blood pressure, which is the result of the disinterested help of people living in other parts of the world, who joined the Solidarity Project My Land, My People implemented in this Camagüey locality.
The observation room of the Manuel Piti Fajardo municipal hospital, and the nursing homes located in the rural localities of La Vallita and San Antonio were this time the recipients of three manual sphygmomanometers that will be used in the monitoring of patients with severe trauma and in the care of the elderly admitted to the aforementioned social care institutions.
During the act of delivery of the measuring instruments to each of the sites, the solidarity actions with the Public Health system of the territory carried out by friends and collaborators Floridians residing in other nations of the world were praised and thanked.
The project Mi Tierra, Mi Gente, together with a significant number of organizations and productive entities of the municipality of Florida have also been mediators or protagonists of innumerable gestures of this type in the last months.
As a result of this altruism shared here, thousands of patients and people seeking medical attention have benefited in the midst of the most complex situation of lack of resources and the intensification of the U.S. blockade that the Cuban state and people are facing today.
