Raw material recovery campaign continues in Florida

Continúa en Florida campaña de recuperación de materias primas

Florida, Mar. 27 – The collective of the Unidad Empresarial de Base (UEB) for the Recovery of Raw Materials, of the municipality of Florida, with the support of students, teachers and other social actors continue the work in the collection of recyclable products to comply with the plan foreseen for the year and materialize the figures foreseen for exportation.

This weekend, the students grouped in the Movimiento Recuperadores del Futuro from the elementary schools José Luis Tassende, Manuel Fajardo, Carlos J Finlay, located in the Las Margaritas community, and the Agustín Farabundo Martí secondary school delivered cans, cardboard, plastic, bottles, aluminum scrap, copper, bronze and lead.

The»Mi Barrio Recicla» Raw Materials Festival was also held in the Los Pinos community, where approximately 350 kilograms of ferrous and non-ferrous materials, textile waste, paper, cardboard, containers and other reusable waste generated by the population were recovered.

The exhortation to contribute to the recovery of the raw material accumulated in the homes and workplaces of Florida continues, because it is a task that contributes to the economic development of the territory and the country.
