Florida, Mar. 10 – The workers of the Unidad Empresarial de Base de Recuperación de Materias Primas in Florida complied with the non-ferrous scrap plan, which includes aluminum, bronze and copper, at the end of February, according to William Marín Echevarría, economist of the entity.
They also delivered to the province more than five thousand kilograms of cardboard and paper waste; two thousand kilograms of plastics; and eight thousand kilograms of glass and textile containers.
To these results contribute the collection work carried out in the three fixed points of the local buying houses, the organization of the Reciclo mi Barrio Festivals in the communities, and the support of the students through the «Recoverers of the Future Movement».
The collective of the Unidad Empresarial de Recuperación de Materias Primas in Florida is working to fulfill its plans to deliver these resources to the provincial company and contribute to the development of the local and national economy.
