Florida, Feb. 16 – The Polytechnic Institute of Economics (IPE) Manuel Rivero Gómez de Avellaneda, in the municipality of Florida, was the venue for the official opening of the Conference on Maternity and Paternity: Equal Rights and Responsibilities, which will continue until April 4.
The event was attended by Yunior Vega Rivero, General Director of Education in Florida; Dr. Maité Díaz Suárez, coordinator of the Assisted Reproduction Program and José Andrés Vázquez, School Health Advisor, all united in the call to raise awareness and promote spaces for reflection and dialogue to achieve responsibility and self-care of adolescents and young people.
On the occasion of the day, the Education Sector in Florida organized a group of actions that will take workshops, educational talks, lectures and master classes to the educational centers of the territory with the collaboration of specialists from Prosalud and the Assisted Planning Program.
With 11 years of experience, the main objective of this initiative, which started in 2014, is to continue training the population to advance in the implementation of the Family Code and guarantee the full development of children and adolescents and their right to live in a safe, healthy and empowering environment.
