Equal Opportunity Week began in Florida

Florida, Nov 28.- With a tribute to José Martí in the Central Park that bears his name, the affiliates of the National Association of the Blind (ANCI), National Association of Physically Limited Motors (ACLIFIM) and National Association of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing ( ANSOC) in Florida, began Equal Opportunity Week which will last until December 3rd.

Like every year, the unions in the town will carry out various sports, recreational and exchange activities with local institutions and organizations during these days, with the purpose of showing their incorporation into social life.

Highlighting the abilities that people with disabilities have and thus showing their abilities to work, supporting the social and economic development of their environment, is also one of the purposes of these days.

Equal Opportunities Week is a time to celebrate the contributions and active participation of people with disabilities in the social and economic life of the nation, but at the same time seek an inclusive view of people with physical limitations.
