Florida, Nov 28.- The highest leadership of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) together with the Government and the governing bodies of agriculture in the municipality continue their usual tours of agri-food sites, with the purpose of verifying compliance with the planting plans , harvest, destinations and marketing of agricultural products.
On this occasion, the exchange at the base reached the farm of farmer Danilo Marrero Mesa, in the Frank País García Credit and Services Cooperative (CCS), where the experienced producer of various crops, promoter of agroecological practices and recognized contributor to Education and Health of the territory demonstrated, on the ground, the favorable results of its daily efforts.
The delegation later moved to the farm of 68-year-old farmer Flor Fernández, university professor and dean in the use of sustainable agriculture techniques, whose land is home to more than 36 varieties of fruit trees along with plantations of viands, grains and vegetables, which contribute to the fulfillment of their commitments to society.
The management of the livestock, the planting of tobacco, various crops and the direct delivery of milk to the Leopoldo Rey Sampayo pediatric hospital by the farmer Pedro González Álvarez were also appreciated during the tour of the productive sites associated with the CCS Frank País García.
