Florida, Nov 20.- “Ventana a las Letras” club once again hosted the members of Gertrudis Gómez de Avellaneda Literary Workshop, an exchange space where artists promote their work and exhibit it to the participants in this meeting, which is held every Friday at El Negro Bembón Cultural Center in the municipality of Florida.
Sponsored by the Provincial Center for Books and Literature in Camagüey, this space protects those who join in making literature one of their passions. The meeting, which also receives the members of the Abriendo Brecha Project of Hermanos Saiz Association, becomes an outlet for cultural exchange where music and other manifestations such as theater also come together, occasionally.
The event every Friday is a regular space that honors the well-known Floridian writer Rubén Faílde Braña, member of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba, and the poetess Elena María Obregón Navarro, an exchange directed by the literary specialists of La Casa de la Cultura Luis Casas Romero.
This club is a space where lovers of literature and culture in general participate.
