Florida, Nov 14.- Charging for services through digital payment platforms is a priority for the Cuban Telecommunications Company SA (ETECSA) in Florida, in the midst of the banking system that the country is experiencing, as stated explained Alexis Rabí, director of that entity that leads the computerization process in Cuba.
The manager said that currently all the services that ETECSA provides to its clients can be paid through Transfermóvil, which have a 10% discount, while those who access these at the commercial office can make the payment through a magnetic card or through the QR code.
The manager explained that clients were previously informed in the office itself and through Radio Florida that as of November 1, cash for payment of services would be completely eradicated, which is decisive in the process of progress of banking.
On August 2, the Official Gazette of the Republic of Cuba published Resolution 111/2023 of the Central Bank of Cuba on the bankingization of operations on the Island.
