Florida, Aug 11.- With a representation of the federated members of the Agramonte popular council, the closing of the assembly process of the XI Congress of the Federation of Cuban Women (FMC) was held in that demarcation, at which time the undefeated Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz was remembered , on the eve of the 97th anniversary of his birth.
During the process, the Pharmacy and Oficoda groups were declared XI Congress Centers of the FMC due to the results achieved in the year and being units where the majority of their workers are women.
In the activity, the delegates to the municipal assembly of the women’s organization were presented, who expressed their satisfaction at being selected in their blocks and delegations to participate in the great event.
The members of the Association of Combatants of the Cuban Revolution, also present at the meeting, narrated anecdotes lived with the leader Fidel Castro Ruz and recognized the role and presence of women at all times and on all fronts of the Revolution.
