Florida, Aug 1.- Means of early diagnosis, multidisciplinary consultations and special care with high financial cost for the Cuban State are made available to pregnant women, as part of the actions designed in the Maternal and Child Care Program, even in the midst of of the strong material deficiencies and economic restrictions that the country is experiencing.
Dr. Alsy Lee Yero, Master in Genetic Counseling at the Community Genetics Center of the municipality of Florida, offers details about the care that pregnant women receive there, in an interview with journalist Pedro Pablo Sáez Herrera.
