Florida, Mar. 21 – Various activities are being organized and are taking place in the student groups of the different schools and work centers of Florida where the youth structure exists, to celebrate the new birthday of the Organization of Pioneers José Martí (OPJM) and the Union of Young Communists (UJC), an event that will be commemorated on April 4.
Special matinees, sports meetings, book presentations, lectures, cultural activities and other options are taking place these days in Florida’s educational institutions to commemorate the life and work of José Martí Pérez, the great friend of children and the most universal of Cubans.
The Organization of Pioneers celebrates its 64th birthday and the Union of Young Communists, the 63rd, both group the new pines of Florida and Cuba as a banner of the future of the Homeland.
