Biggest active health investigation to identify febrile patients in Florida, a task that cannot be postponed (+Audio)

Florida, Sep. 26 – During the current month of September, more than 320 febrile cases were identified in Florida, which confirms the permanence here of diseases such as Dengue and Oropouche, or non-specific febrile syndrome, and the need to advance in the fight against the causes of these infectious-contagious diseases.

Among the favorable conditions for the proliferation of the vectors present in the municipality are more than 67 dumps and 60 micro dumps; two blocks in transmission of arbovirosis and 36 evaluated with epidemiological risk.

On this subject, journalist Pedro Pablo Sáez Herrera conducted the following interview with Luis Manuel Lastres Mendoza, chief advisor of the Arbovirosis Program at the General Directorate of Public Health in Florida. We present it for your consideration.
