Florida, Aug. 19 – Elderly and workers of the Nursing Home of the popular council La Vallita, enjoyed a cultural show performed by instructors of the Luis Casas Romero House of Culture, an institution that celebrates the 45th anniversary of its foundation.
Under the artistic direction of Arnaldo Alfonso Rosales, the activity focused its attention on highlighting the centenary of the constitution of Florida as a municipal district, which will be celebrated on December 15 of this year, and on entertaining, through artistic manifestations and art, the elderly who live in this collective residence.
Visibly moved, the elderly thanked the artists for the noble gesture of visiting their home with interesting cultural and recreational proposals, an action contemplated in the program designed by the Direction of Culture together with its institutions for the summer period.
The Nursing Home of La Vallita is one of the three institutions of its kind in the municipality of Florida that provides hosting services, safe food, protection and integral care to the elderly without family support.
