Floridan Eleodoro Carvajal García, Vanguard of the National Association of Blind

Florida, Jul 15.- The Master of Science Eleodoro Carvajal García, president of the José Martí Cultural Society in Florida, was selected National Vanguard in the category of Sighted Associate in the emulation of the Association of the Blind and Visually Impaired in Cuba (ANCI). .

The recognition was marked by his close link with the ANCI in order to keep alive the thought, life and work of the apostle of Cuban independence through Club Martiano, in addition to the constant work with the children he attends at the Special School of Florida.

According to its statutes, ANCI recognizes the performance of its members in 10 different parameters, ranging from participation in sports and cultural activities to their interaction with society.

The official recognition of Eleodoro Carvajal García for obtaining the National Vanguard distinction will take place on July 19, during the Camagüey provincial celebration of the 48th anniversary of the creation of the association.
