Florida, June 23.– Around 30 young people from the municipality of Florida demobilized from the Army decided to accept the delivery of idle land in free usufruct as an offer of employment and an effective way to participate directly in the tasks of food production.

The sugarcane recovery, the promotion of large and small livestock, the planting of rice and the planting of various crops stand out among the main destinations of the land obtained by this group of beneficiaries by decree laws 259, 300 and 358.

The Joint Resolution approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and the Revolutionary Armed Forces (FAR) not only offers boys who complete their time in military service the opportunity to opt for idle land, but also, as a novelty, to new recruits who After completing a minimum period in defense activities, they can obtain their license under the commitment to join in agricultural tasks in the same way.

This program is supported by the Economic and Social Policy of the Party and the Revolution and the Economic Development Plan of the country until 2030, which order prioritizing the adoption of measures that encourage the incorporation and permanence of the most inexperienced in the agro-productive sector. and in particular favor the delivery of land in free usufruct as a form of employment.
