Public Health specialists in Florida recommend intensifying hygienic-sanitary measures

Florida, June 12.- The municipality presents a complex environmental situation due to the accumulation of garbage, leaks and sewage obstructions, which, added to the intense rains of the last few days, facilitates the appearance of Aedes Aegypti mosquito outbreaks.

Faced with this situation, specialists from the Municipal Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology recommend that the population intensify hygienic-sanitary measures in homes and workplaces, including properly brushing the tanks with water, cleaning all the vessels and the veneer of patios and other spaces.

Those responsible for the anti-vector campaign in the territory ratify that in the presence of feverish symptoms one should go to the Family Doctor’s Office or to the polyclinic guardhouse to be treated on time.

Increasing the use of autofocal in homes and workplaces is now the main strategy to deal with the vector, to prevent the transmission of diseases.
