Florida, June 6.- Francisco Rafael Lazo de La Vega, known as Macurán, was one of the many shoe shine boys that were in Cuba when the Revolution triumphed; he was barely able to study until fourth grade, but after 1959 everything changed.
The black boy who was born in El Condado neighborhood of Santa Clara, he studied,and joined the Revolutionary Armed Forces. In 1970 came to Camagüey to become an Agricultural Aviation pilot. Roberto Rodríguez Torres presents it in the following report.
