Florida, May 30.- The children’s musical-theatrical company Pequeños Son, from the municipality of Florida, won the Grand Prize of the Provincial Theater Festival recently held in the city of Camagüey, where other amateur artists were also winners and art instructors from the Luis Casas Romero House of Culture and the José Martí Brigade.
The oral narration Hello, Hello life without a Screen, by Florida art instructor Yenni Delgado Moreira, was also awarded and the Female Performance Award, with the same work, went to Yoana Santiesteban Rodríguez.
The main recognition for the male performance was received by the Floridian Anoy Javier Pérez Pérez, and the Fantasy and Colors Show of the Circo Ilusión, by the cultural promoter Alejandro Rivero Asea, made up of girls, boys and adolescents who love Clawn and juggling, also ranked among the winners of the territory.
The Theater Festival Between Gestures and Words was dedicated, on this occasion, to the 45th anniversary of the System of Houses of Culture, the 40th anniversary of the Olga Alonso group, from the University of Medical Sciences and the art instructors Cecilio Montejo and Adonys Ordán.
