Florida, May 16.- More than 200 Assemblies of the 11th Congress of the Federation of Cuban Women (FMC) have been held in the municipality of Florida to date, as reported by Rita Viltres Ríos, general secretary of the organization in the territory.

In several delegations of the popular councils of Agramonte, Urban Center, José Martí, Rolando Valdivia and Ibarra, meetings were held with the federated, whose main objective is to take stock of the organization’s actions in recent years and approve the projections of work for the new stage.

During the meetings, in addition to approving the balance report of each grassroots organization, the secretariat is restructured, the activists are selected, the pre-candidates for the great event of the FMC are selected, and outstanding members of the FMC are recognized. community.

The balance process prior to the 11th Congress of the Federation of Cuban Women will reach the more than 400 delegations of the municipality of Florida before June 30, to then hold the municipal assembly.
