Florida, April 28.- Floridian Adrián Pérez Niebla won a Silver medal as part of the Cuban Table Tennis men’s team, occupying second place in the fifth edition of the ALBA Games, based in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela .
The young tennis player was part of the Cuban trio that reached the final of this tournament, where they lost 3-1 against the Russian team, a country that participates as a guest in this Latin American multi-sport event that promotes solidarity and brotherhood among peoples. The other three athletes from the municipality of Florida who participate in the current ALBA Games are competing within the tournaments of their respective sports disciplines.
Danaylis León Joseph in the group modality of rhythmic gymnastics, Adrián Chirino Callam in men’s volleyball and Yarima García Díaz will be in action starting this Thursday in the speed tests of the event.
