Florida, Apr 21.- The residents and workers of the rural communities of Playa Florida and San Gerónimo were the first to carry out the community acts for May 1, World Proletariat Day, festivities that the inhabitants of La Vallita continued.
Hoisting the slogan To the Homeland: Hands and Heart, and with allegorical banners to May 1st, these activities will also be carried out in the population settlements of the Rodolfo Ramírez Esquivel, Las Parras, Algarrobo and Conquistas popular councils.
The community acts for the Day of the World Proletariat take place in the rural communities of the municipality of Florida with the objective of involving all its affiliates to the different unions and their families in the celebrations for the anniversary.
As foreseen by the leadership of the Labor Movement in Florida, during these celebrations the labor groups with the best results in their management receive stimuli, among them the Che Guevara and Mártires de Granada cooperatives, the Autoconsumo de Otero, the Poultry Base Business Unit, as well as the Heriberto Martín Guzmán Mixed Center.
The community acts in salute to May 1st strengthen the worker-peasant alliance and constitute scenarios of revolutionary reaffirmation where the participants ratify the firm conviction of defending the conquests of Socialism.
