Florida, Apr 6.- Florida sprinter Yarima García Díaz, established a new national record for children under 20 years of age in the 300-meter distance, during her participation in the Félix Sánchez Athletics Classic, an event that takes place in the Dominican Republic.
The information that transcends the competition reveals that the 18-year-old runner came fifth in the women’s triple hectometre race, with a time of 38 seconds and 14 hundredths, a record that dethrones the previous national record.
This new result confirms the talent and continuous athletic growth of Florida sprinter Yarima García, who assures that these days she is still in a stage of general preparation, so she can continue improving her times on the track in future international competitions.
