Elections in Florida: more than 50 thousand voters and 136 polling stations

Florida, March 4.- More than 50,000 Floridians are registered on the voter lists that will guarantee their right to vote in the General Elections scheduled for March 26.

According to the information offered by the secretariat of the Municipal Electoral Council, the preliminary number of voters is not only adjusted to the official registry of the territory, it is complemented by the house-to-house review process and the constant updating of the list until a few hours before the comic event itself.

The Electoral Law establishes that any citizen with legal capacity and willingness to participate in the elections, and who for some reason did not appear included in that document on March 26, may request their immediate registration and exercise the right to vote.

With the objective of guaranteeing the influx of voters to the polls on said day, a total of 136 polling stations will open their doors in the municipality of Florida, attended by more than 500 electoral authorities, to conduct and supervise the normal development of the parliamentary elections.
